    Hi tkroo,
Thanks for such regularity with pouring out build after build!
Yet, i came upon problems with the latest 64 bits versions (including the Blender.org one). I just downloaded your latest 32 bits (28205) to check out few things.
    Here are my observations:

    • 32 and 64 bits builds make my OSX 10.5 Finder collapse (allready opened applications still work, just the Finder won't obey!)
    • 32 bits build 28205 on OSX 10.4.9 works flawlessly and doesn't freeze any Finder functionality.
    • On both OSs, the 32 bits rendering takes a third of time (exact same file and same values)
    • Yet, 32 bits renders aren't as clean as 64 bits ones (Materials are poorer and shadows almost gone).

    All very strange stuff indeed...

Can't figure out if something has gone wrong with my Leopard, or if few changes have been performed that it can't digest...

    Hello again!
    What is different between 28205 and 28216 (32 and/or 64bits)?

Almux, you can look here : http://cia.vc/stats/project/Blender to see the commit messages from 27205 to 28216 to get an idea of what has changed between these revisions.

maybe a better place to learn what's going on with new developments is this thread : http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?t=143717 it won't tell you the changes from one specific revision to another but it may give you a overview of what's happening with blender 2.5 changes.
