    Thanks for all the hard work that goes into creating these builds. However, I think it would be even better if the title of the builds and the descriptions communicated the purpose behind all of the hard work. It's not like this site is just for Blender-techies anymore, it's getting more and more attention and everyone isn't so informed about the history of particular builds and how they are progressing.

    It seems like a whole lot of work goes into creating these and then not much effort is put into explaining to visitors why they should even be interested. You know what I mean?

    Having said that, though, I think you all do a great job and your site is an absolute asset to the community.

    Thanks for your advice, I always place logs in my build but you know, we are still in SVN freeze so theres not much to tell, except bugfixes, I'll think about this more, if anyone have suggestions fr graphicall just let me know or use the contact thingy

    I've been watching the cvs logs, and BMesh seems to be progressing nicely. Really looking forward too a build to try it out.

    Have not tested this version. Can you access the vertex colors with "Geometry" in material nodes with this version? Does not work with the official build.

    It works, just use a preview render panel (Shift P) to see results in 3D View, you cant see anything in node's previews because its geometry based :-p

    Also you don't need to turn on VColPaint

    you can get rid of that rgb-bw converter, blender does it automagicaly

    Is there any possibility to have autorigging (skinning)patch included in future releases of your SVN? It works really good and I think that it reduces bone weighting work by incredible amount! btw: Thank you for the great releases!

    Only if it gets commited to SVN, I dont want to depend on souch important patches, what if I stop patching and your rigs stop working :) BTW yes I know it works very well, hope it gets commited soon!

    LOL! Rigs will continue to work for because this is just weighting patch (I think). (Quaternion mesh deformation is another story). We'll wait and see! Thanks anyway!

    Does anybody have a clue what compositing nodes will be available in the next major release. It will be nice to see more color correction features. For instance, the HSV node could use a GUI upgrade. I would like to see what colors in the color spectrum am I shifting to. More blur nodes, like motion blur and directional blurs, and a real glow node.

    Animated transition from front/side/top view is a great plus... greatly improoving the "oooh"-beguiling-factor when demonstrating blender.
    Ehm, just a question: why does the "pop-up" that appears when selecting a video codec not appear anymore? (yup I can't set my video codec anymore, how sad is that?)

    yap, all SVN from this one keep crashing on xp when rendering with yafray with the XML option disabled

    of course it does, yafray and blender need to be built with the same compiler to be used as a plugin

    Hi all !

    It seems there's a problem on armature with this build .
    Moving ik_target bone do strange moves ...
    Loading a blend containing an armature make the armature goes weird ...

    Question:
    Can you Include in the Next updated SVN Build for Windows also the "Stamp" Patches that Plumiferos Team already uses in there Builds?
    That would be cool!and ofcourse Cool when this Included in the next Official Blender Release!
    because i think this are very Usefull!!!

    linux build with the textures in editmode would rock. Together with projection modifier it's a great modelling help.

    *love* this build. however, it crashes when I try to bake ambient occlusion with the new default sampling method (Constant QMC). The slightly less useful adaptive qmc method works fine.
