Thank you. I like the splash screen. FYI Ubuntu 10.04 in place upgraded from 9.04. I did have to add python3.1-dev. Your build as well as the three other Alpha 2 builds on machine work great. This build opens faster than my 28xxx builds. Sweet.

    Heyo,

    I'm getting an

    "libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.11' not found"

    error.

The latest glibc in the ubuntu repositories is 2.10 so I'm not sure where to find this update.

    i am using ubuntu 10.04 and in synaptic i have "libc6 2.11.1".
so i would look for "libc6" in synaptic

I'm new to Linux, how do you install a build like this? just unzip the content in any folder?

    Thanks in advance.

Yes just unzip the contents into any folder but you might have to install some libs so that you can run blender. I would read comments from my builds and builds from fish that should help.
