    Built with scons and MSVC 2008 Pro

    --user-config.py--

    WITH_BF_SNDFILE = False
    WITH_BF_JACK = False
    WITH_BF_OPENMP = True

    Tested on a Windows Server 2008 VM)

    Recent Changes: From http://cia.vc/stats/project/blender

     Commit by blendix  ::  r24889 /branches/sculpt25/ (15 files in 10 dirs): (link)

    Sculpt: external file storage for multires

        * This is experimental, the file format may change still!
        * Helps reduce memory usage, keeps .blend files smaller, and makes saving quicker when not editing multires.
        * This is implemented at the customdata level, currently only the multires displacements can be stored externally. ToDo
        * Better integration with object duplication/removal/..
        * Memory is not yet freed when exiting sculpt mode.
        * Loading only lower levels is not supported yet.

    Let me know if this doesn't work for you

    Where in your config.py you put the information to compile x64?
    When I compile with scons and MSVC 2008 pro I'm able only to compile x86.
    How to compile x64?
    Nortmobile
    well I installed python x64 in c:\python26_64 and then I make sure that that is the first "python" install in my system path enviromental variable. SCONS will detect which version you are using and it will attempt to compile that version.

    Thankyou very much.
    I gonna try it!
    Elcrapocrew
    It crashed with a subsurf modifier but without it it seems fine.

    Fine compilation with your tip.
    Do you know how to aplly fastmath and LAA?
    vykelt
    It worked in sculpt mode for me. This version let me get to a much higher poly count then I've ever been in Blender and it was working as fast as if I was working with just a few thousand polys. Freak'n awesome guys. It crashed for me when I tried to go back to object mode. Can't wait to see it done and debugged.

    firstly, thanks for the build :)
    and the same as with vykelt happend here. switch to sculpt mode worked, sculpting itself was fast as hell even with a very high resolution mesh and then it crashed when i went back to object mode.
    max
    on vista 64 and 12gb ram

    from a cube, until 10 levels ( 6 milions poly ) no problem and pretty smooth in few seconds.

    but when you push for 11 levels ( 25 milions poly ), blender takes few minutes to update but the model is still sculptable fine, but the viewport is a little bit slow.

    memory usage at 11 levels is almost 8 giga.

    THANKYOU!!
    Malu
    Are there plans to make a 32 bits build?
    Max
    Thankyou very much!

    some"bugs"

    *in sculpt mode the "smooth" brush make blender crash.
    *simple way subdivision is cool, but if I try with a cubem the first subdivisione will same as Catmull-clark method
    * Previous version were much more speed at Highleel of detail (tried on vista 64 with quadroFX and 12gb of memory)

    thankyou again!
    The Fatsnacker
    I can build the BF branch

    how do i get to the GSOC Branch, Render Branch and Scuplt Branch?

    regards
