This is the bmesh branch of blender, compiled on Fedora 16 64bit.

 

Bmesh is the succesor to the editmesh codebase currently in use and it has many new features, the most notable being support for n-gons, which are polygons with more than 4 sides. Though that's not all of course ;D BlenderCookie has a good video about it here: http://vimeo.com/36735909
