This is a standard Trunk build of Blender, patched using bdancer's custom V-Ray exporter.

This build was compiled with Visual Studio 2008 Professional using default settings.

Huge thanks to bdancer for creating this exporter.

Hey m9105826, where is Blender saying "Preparing Renderer"? Is that inside the main Blender UI, or a printout in the System Console?

If it's in the Blender UI, try going up to Help and select Toggle System Console. And then try rendering again. If you are getting an error inside Blender, watching what the System Console is printing out will likely give you a much better idea of where Blender is getting stuck.

I can't get the exporter to work, it keeps hanging at "Preparing Renderer". Any ideas?

Hey zumpitu, are you wondering about Blender's Cycles renderer, or V-Ray's GPU integration?

This build should contain the same cycles as you'd find in a standard trunk build. If you're wondering about V-Ray's GPU features, I'm fairly certain that feature isn't functional in the Blender to V-Ray bridge.

Though BDancer is still adding features, here's a work in progress article of some new features.
