Spender, I am not sure. I don't have 10.5 to test... all my systems are running Lion now... sorry. :(
I would be interested to know if this works for you, though. Could you test if it works and let us know your results?

Thanks,

alikandarfen,

gpu support in cycles is for nvidia cards only. ati/amd cards are not supported (that i know of). more info here: http://blenderartists.org/forum/archive/index.php/t-217524.html

Hi,

I am using a macbook pro 2011 on Lion 10.7.2 (AMD radeon HD 6750m)

Using Cycles, its OK with CPU. But with GPU it gives me a totally black rendered image... (it terminates immediatly whatever the number of samples is).

Is that normal ? Or how to correct this ?

Thanks !

Sciman3, I used scons to compile, which uses the stock gcc from osx dev tools. that gcc is version 4.2, as shown below.

gcc --version
i686-apple-darwin11-llvm-gcc-4.2 (GCC) 4.2.1 (Based on Apple Inc. build 5658) (LLVM build 2335.15.00)

What compiler did you compile this with? gcc 4.6.x?
